Aký je svet očami detí?

V dnešnej dobe zvečniť okamih nie je žiadny problém. Vytiahneme z vrecka telefón, stlačíme jedno tlačidlo a záber (spomienka) je na svete. Nie je v tom žiadne umenie... Ale mohlo by byť! A práve to sme sa snažili deti naučiť.

Počas troch fotografických workshopov a dvoch ďalších, ktoré boli určené na úpravu a využitie fotografií sme sa deti snažili doviesť k tomu, aby sa zamysleli nad tým čo a ako fotia. Vďaka dražbe fotografií, ktoré vznikli vo fotosúťaži Jarné Záhorie očami detí, a zvyšku podpory z grantového programu Náš Rohožník, sme deťom mohli kúpiť fotovybavenie, ktoré im umožnilo nové kreatívne formy zachytávania spomienok.

Vyskúšali si prácu s klasickým fotoaparátom, zrkladlovkou, experimentovali s rôznymi formami osvetlenia. Skúšali rôzne uhly dopadu svetla, skúšali meniť jeho intenzitu a dokonca aj farbu. Vysvetlili sme si ako funguje kompozícia, ako sa vytvárajú portrétové fotografie a deti si vyskúšali dokonca aj kreatívne fotenie pomocou fotografickej gule a iných predmetov. Deti mali ohromnú radosť z fotenia, ale tešili sa aj keď mohli byť objektami fotografie a veľký úspech mala pozícia osvetľovača.

Na zachytených fotografiách sme si ukázali, ktoré sú dobré a ktoré nie sú dobré. Tu sa nám niekto pohol, tam zase tieň dopadal cez tvár fotoobjektu, na inej fotografii zase chýbali nohy alebo iná časť tela (hlava našťastie bola všade).

Spoločne sme vybrali fotografie, ktoré boli najreprezentatívnejšie. Tie sme si vytlačili a spravili sme si z nich krásnu fotoknihu, ktorá nám bude slúžiť ako spomienka na to, čo sme v uplynulých rokoch v Jemnej ceste zažili. Za podporu ešte raz ďakujeme dobrým ľuďom, ktorí si kúpili fotografie na vernisáži fotosúťaže a taktiež grantovému programu Náš Rohožník a obci Rohožník, že aspoň čiastočne podporil projekt Zvečnené okamihy očami detí.

ENGLISH: What Is the World Like Through Children’s Eyes?

These days, capturing a moment is no problem at all. You pull a phone out of your pocket, press a button, and the shot (the memory) is there. No art in that… or could there be? That’s exactly what we tried to show the children.

Over the course of three photography workshops, plus two more dedicated to editing and using photographs, we encouraged the kids to think about what and how they were photographing. Thanks to the auction of photos created in the contest Springtime Záhorie Through Children’s Eyes, and additional support from the Náš Rohožník grant program, we were able to buy the children photography equipment that allowed them to explore new creative ways of capturing memories.

They got to work with a classic camera and a DSLR, experimenting with different types of lighting. They tried different angles of light, changed its intensity, and even its color. We explained how composition works, how portrait photos are created, and the children even tried creative photography using a crystal ball and other objects.

The kids had tremendous fun taking photos, but also enjoyed being the subjects—and the role of lighting assistant was especially popular. On the captured photos, we looked at which ones worked well and which didn’t. Someone had moved here, a shadow fell across a face there, or in another shot feet—or some other body part—were missing (thankfully, the head was always included). Together we selected the most representative photographs.

We printed those and created a beautiful photo book, which will serve as a memory of all that we’ve experienced at Jemná cesta in recent years.
